Congratulations, Mez!! I love the feeling when you finally book the apartment, the trip becomes so much more real. What a great location you will have. Now you can start dreaming about where you will go (and where you will eat! ;D) and what you will do and what you will see.
Awesome!

So glad it worked out! How's the route to Roland Garros?
Have you ever made a Birthday trip for the US Open? I'm usually in Paris for the finals.....

Thanks Jo. While I loved reading your trip reports, I have no delusions that I can even begin to emulate your dining experiences. I have promised myself that I will spend a bit more time "dining" as opposed to refuelling. So glad it worked out! How's the route to Roland Garros? Have you ever made a Birthday trip for the US Open? I'm usually in Paris for the finals..... I've set myself a reminder to get online to buy Roland Garros tickets when they go on sale next year. I also joined the Australian Open Club so I could enter their ballot for French Open tickets. I've got to hedge my bets. ;D Wimbledon and the US Open will still be on the list but my aim is to get to them in the coming years. I am lucky that my current job holds no restrictions in when I can take leave. We also have a scheme that allows us to buy up to 4 weeks of additional leave each year. I have been a good girl though, and have abstained from travel this year so I can have a long trip in 2011.
