Does anyone know if the above would be open on Bastille Day?

I checked about a dozen websites and most said nothing about closing days but a few said that the resto is closed on Tues and on May 1st, which matches the closing days of the museum.
I think it would be safe to say it's open on July14th.

Thanks Darcy - They are open, so I'm booking - mostly for the fireworks viewing, but I'd be interested in getting people's input on food and also dress -

I also read a great deal of postings on this spot, as well. We decided to go for it on Bastille Day, mostly to take in the fireworks. Last year we ate at Le Ciel de Paris, and were very happy with it, but this year it seemed pretty pricey considering we had along a finicky 16 year old. As far as Georges is concerned, most of what I had read prior turned out to be true. It is a scene, for sure and the hostesses/model wanabees certainly clack along the floor. The hostess we had tried to put us at an inferior table, but we stood our ground and received one with a view. We decided on inside as the day was an iffy one, and that ended up to be a smart move as there were a couple of periods of rain and wind while we were dining. We had a very sweet albeit rather harried waitress who did her best to assure us of a nice evening. The food was fine, not gourmond by any means, but a large selection and satisfactory. While some items were expensive, I found others, including the wine, to be on par with other places. We had a great view of the fireworks and everyone was in great spirits. It was a fun evening.
