Hey Shoesy -- don't knock yourself out trying to like it if you don't, we'll just have to handle your share for you! Just trying to help, of course ! (How are you about champagne?)

Becky, I only drink water, except for my morning cup of coffee.

Shoesy....No orange juice? No milk? Well, I do like water too and drink quite a bit of it, but I also do love a glass of red. I need to get more discriminating and need to recollect my favorite wines better. I don't have it oft enough to be a connoisseur..but I do appreciate a fine glass of wine when I have one! (and of course, red wine is good for you! (or so they say!))

It's a darm shame. There are so many beautiful reds and whites out there and lovely stories behind them. Unfortunately, due to medical reasons I am not allowed to drink. Except fpr the occasional breakdown of a white peach proscecco I've held things pretty well in check. I didn't drink very often to start withh but when someone tells you absolutly none, you freak out a little bit The ONLY benefit I can see from any of this, I don't make a fool of myself showing people my wonderbra and I don't wake up with a headache. AHHHHHH, those were the good ol' days!

Susan, did you really show your wonderbra after drinking Now I'm REALLY glad I don't drink. Who knows what I might do if I were feeling a little giddy!?!

The following website offers a great deal of information about wine (check its archives). Another interesting aspect is that the narratives are available in both French and English. a-la-recherche-du-vin.typepad.com/

Let me supply another link - this one to Beaujolais. I just bought a Morgon 2002 at my grocers and wanted to check the temperature it should be served at: www.beaujolais-wines.com/crus.htm
