A few weeks ago, I found this website and ordered a few things: www.frenchselections.com/Saturday night, we had what I thought would be French Food Night at my girlfriend's house. I purchased some foie gras, paté, Agen prunes, good mustard, fig and walnut confit, chocolate/hazelnut galettes and augmented it at Whole Foods with some truffle cheese, cornichons, a good baguette and fresh goat cheese. I'm probably forgetting several things. Anyway, I was all excited for a dinner of French appetizers when my girlfriend announced that her husband would need more than just a bunch of appetizers and he asked me to make Osso Buco. So the French dinner rapidly went ecumenical! I do recommend this company though. The food was of high quality and they had a good selection.

I;ll second your recommendation. I've ordered from them for a few years now and have always been satisfied. I just ordered some gifts to be shipped a few days ago. I know the owner posts on some French sites, but I can't remember her name!

The owner of Joie de Vivre is Sylvaine Lang. She's delightful, knowledgeable, and offers terrific French products. On her website www.frenchselections.com , click on "browse the print catalog" in the left column. Go to the second page and hit "view". You'll find her photo and comments. Jo
