To the lucky OPFers who will spend the New Year in Paris (Sister, Gitte, ...), do you know that Pierre Hermé allows you to choose and order your NY treats online, and then you just pick up your order at a big tent which will be installed at métro Pasteur, close to PH's Vaugirard shop. www.pierreherme.com/retrait-boutique/familly.cgi?id=14&cwsid=5889phAC194316ph5955600The 2009 new bûches which will be available until the NY are the Chuao (mostly chocolate, enhanced by blackcurrant) and the Infiniment Caramel (the Master's favourite, from what I read in an article) with caramel tasting of butter, fleur de sel and lemon . And of course there is always the classic Ispahan (framboise and rose), a tribute to our Lilia .

ooh, they look tempting Anne! Thanks!! Perhaps they'll end up on the NY eve menu, which has yet to be determined. Except for lots of bubbly of course (and it goes without saying that I wish that you could join us...)

Ooh...the Infiniment Caramel (with caramel tasting of butter) sounds like it would be one of my favorites aussi! Mmm...! Of course, tant pis (or what is the OPF version of that?)... I won't be there on New Year's Eve to pick up such a special num num at the big tent!

Cybee - "Tom pee" is the OPF (or should I say Roniece's) version of "tant pis". Too priceless for me to forget that one. ;D ;D ;D

I wonder if I'm the only one who thinks that the especially lovely pink creation (the Flocon Ispahan) is a bit too pretty to eat.
