I saw on Slow Travel that Daniel Rose has reopened his place in the 9th while the work still goes on to prepare his new restaurant in the 1st. I think the new place is called Table 28 and for anyone who is in Paris in the next little while, this may be the chance to eat Daniel's cooking without a 3 month wait.

BTW, I am posting this from the most luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in! We are at the Royal Playa del Carmen for one week starting today and I think it may almost make me forget Paris (at least for 1 week. Then again, I am on OPF tonight, aren't I, so maybe that won't happen after all! ;D
