This Sunday I was at the Trocadero metro station and got a peek into the public restrooms that are under the entrance nearest the cite de la patrimoine and they are BEAUTIFUL! Lovely dark wood doors to each stall with stained glass and an attendant to keep it all clean. Just so you know...

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. At least they seem to have abandoned those public street bathrooms with most of the walls appearing inside to be slightly tinted glass. Yes, they were mirrored on the outside, but I just couldn't imagine anyone actually using one!
