I will soon be bringing my sister-in law (M.) and her daughter, my niece (L.) to Paris for their first visit. Making an itinerary turned out to be more depending that I expected! Did I forget something obvious? Do you have any ideas for lunches? All comments are welcome.
Le lundi 18 mai
Arrival at the apartment, unpacking, but no nap allowed! (8am to 9am)
Food shopping at Atac and Monoprix.
Get metro passes.
Go down rue de la Roquette to Place de la Bastille,
Visit Place des Vosges and l’hôtel de Sens (pause café )
Go down Blv Henri IV toward the Seine.
Ile St-Louis quai with the back view of Notre Dame.
Ile de la Cite.
(Depending how strong people feel: Notre Dame exterior and back home OR cross to métro Hôtel de ville –Louvre Rivoli.
Sit at the Tuileries for some rest.
Walk back home or metro.
Diner: Home Or Bistro Renaissance Or Brasserie Le Rez (all within 4 minutes walk)
The goal is to stay up as late as possible.

Metro line 1 exit to see the Arc de Triomphe (I drink a coffee they go up!)
Down the Champs-Élysées (Au soleil, sous la pluie, à midi ou a minuit..).
Tuileries –Louvre exterior and rue de Rivoli
Notre Dame interior (they can go up the towers, I will drink a coffee) .
Salon thé Mariage Frères
Bateau mouche daytime tour (Vedettes du pont Neuf)
PM
Musée Carnavalet. (1 to 12 hours according to taste!)
A bit of the Marais and the Islands (according to time left)
Diner on rue de la Roquette or near the house because they go early tomorrow morning

Deux magots for a drink and break..
Rue du Cherche-Midi and rue de Rennes for some shopping.
Late lunch chez Nemrod
