Ah but Geordy, you do seem to go more often so it probably evens ou. This trip at the earliest won't be till October 2010. By the even the word Paris will have me gibbering and drooling.
Really envy Gitte, Denise and the others who can get to Paris several times in a year.
Oh well, must be grateful for what we have.
Keep well everyone.

Shoot..Holger..I thought your trip might be this October....but you were just in London??? I do envy Gitte and Denise..they are nice, wonderful folks(and live on that side of the pond! ;D) and deserve it...but a bit of envy keeps one on her toes! (Why is that good? ) Sunday musings...... Just here in NYC avoiding flu and raindrops....meeting niece later..will tell her of my so far September plans!!! Funny about 3 years into my birthday trips to Paris..this would be about 1996...she said "oh..your annual birthday trip to Paris" and I said "I wish"..not sure I could/would sustain it....now all these years later with unemployment/changed circumstances...still going!!!!! And it keeps me going! Maybe this is the summer we can get you here for the Shoesy OPFGT!

Gerdy,
Would love to come to NYC when you and Shoesy get together. Just let me know dates.
Glasgow, Plymouth and London were 2008. But the trip to Paris this year covers 2009.
My 75th is in June of 2010 and later that summer our son and wife have a 25th anniversary.
We will likely try to have a family time--probably in Canada. So October 2010 is the earliest return to France and it may get postponed to March 2011. I have to find out which quarter I can get off and that will be a major factor along with money.
Also need to see if we can arrange a trip to see DH's family in Denmark. And granddaughter may be living in Ireland by 2010 just to make things more difficult.
I reallly need to hit the lottery.
