???Yes i have just spent 4 days "spring cleaning" mainly inspired by Gitte, who mentioned it on the London GTG, but also I can now relax on my forthcoming trip knowing that it is clean "underneath". I doesn't look that much different but I know the tops of the doors and underneath the furniture etc, are clean and so it feels better. Sad really! What has happened to the feminist in me? Have a nice day everyone. Love Denise

I too put on fresh sheets and put out fresh towels(even in the kitchen!) before going on a trip. Also try to get a good cleaning in before hand. Bad enough to come home...but to come home to a mess Or to have to do a "complete" cleaning the first weekend! Esp. if you stayed in a nice hotel with gleaming marble(or tile bath and good maids!

I feel absolutely the same . On both lines . I do exactly the same thing as I want our home to be nice and clean for my husband while I am away - the nice thing is that it looks the same when I return - he keeps everything just spic & span for which I am grateful!
