:)Apartment hunting at the moment for next year. ( nightmare!  , my head is spinning!) I came across this......... Oh my!!! I better start buying lottery tickets on a more regular basis! Or find some rich friends to share it with, we'll be happy with the smallest bedroom, thank you very much!

Well, there has been some discussion on here about buying an apartment. In my paper this weekend is an advert for :-- Paris 16e Close the Eiffel Tower Elegant 245 sqm apartment on the 4th floor. South facing, large fitted kitchen, stunning 80 sqm reception, 4 nice bedrooms. A service studio and 2 parking spaces. Price 2,950,000 euros That lottery win cannot come soon enough, then we could have a real WW+1,OPFGTG  ;D ;D ;D I can really dream on, as they say. |

Denise,
If you had 3 couples to share the rental, it wouldn't be "that" expensive. If you scroll down through the extended list of photos, you can see the glass floor acts as a sky light on the lower level ceiling.

I had not scrolled down far enough to see the rates on this beautiful place so I sent a quick e-mail to inquire about the availability and price for next year - well, I received a phone call from a very "french" gentleman saying that he had received my e-mail and would like to ask me a few questions - the first question was "how many people would be staying in the apartment?" - the second question was "are you planning on using the apartment for a commercial use?" I told him that there would be 3-5 people, blah, blah and no we wouldn't be using it for "commercial" use - should have thought quickly enough to ask him what he meant by "commercial" I looked at the clock and mentioned to him that he was up very late as it would have been 1:30AM in Paris - he informed me that he is in California for the time being and would be returning to Paris this winter. He also told me that his company has other apartments for rent and he would send me that information along with the information about the loft apartment! Toooo funny - I then went back to the site and about choked when I saw the rental price - we would have to have a whole bunch of people staying there at that price or for sure win the lottery. Oh, almost forgot - he also wanted to know how I found out about this apartment and I told him that a friend found it on the Internet.
Just had to tell you about the conversation I had with my new French friend!!

Nice find Denise...I too would need a lottery win to afford it.

Yes, I did - although it wasn't something that was mailed - he just sent me a link to their web site which is pretty much what we saw on Denises' post. They have beautiful apartments for rent and beautiful prices to go along with it. Like others have said, maybe when we win the lottery!!!
