Hi, I am hopeless on the RAPT site, I have played and played, but it is not playing nicely back. It just keeps saying "certain elements need to be better specified" but does not explain which. I know I want to go to Coyes la Foret, I know that my hotel address is 43 rue des ecoles, 75005, so why is am I hitting this wall. I am trying to figure out how to take the RER to Coyes, which is just outside Paris near Chantilly. I am supposed to meet relatives there ( they actually live in LaMorlaye) and they assure me it is possible, but have not offered anymore direction. To be fair I did not talk to them my dad did, and he assumes it is easy as pie. I have no idea which RER line to take, in which direction( obviously near Chantilly) and what times or how often it runs, and from what station.. very frustrating. Can anyone figure this out for me, I am terribly sorry to be so dense, it is very plainly on the map, I just am not getting it,, Ugh. I will be staying in the 5th, so can leave from either Saint Michel or Luxembourg stations I suppose, or where should I leave from ! I will actually go back on the website and continue fiddling about . Thanks

Well Joan, no wonder that you didn't manage it, I too sweated on the RATP website in order to find the info . Thing is, the à-la-carte itinerary doesn't work for your destination . So after finding out which direction from Paris is Chantilly ( ), I looked at the maps and found out that your station is actually called ORRY-LA-VILLE / COYE . And I guess that the reason why the RATP itinerary doesn't manage this precise station is that this line actually belongs to the SNCF . Anyway : 1/ Take the RER B at St Michel and go up North to Gare du Nord 2/ Two options here : - Either take the RER D1 to Orry-la-Ville-Coye . This will take about 40mns . Be careful about which ticket you buy, the RER map says that Orry station is an out-of-carte-orange station . - Or take a direct train (a TER) from GdN to Orry . It takes about 20 mns . If you tell me which day and approx. hour you plan to travel, I'll get you the precise schedule .
