Well, I NEEDED the male's presence in order to have him retrieve the keys of his wine fridges, you silly ! I know, your next question is : why can't I have the keys to the wine fridges ? Answer is : hubby is so fastidious over his wine that I don't want to interfer with it . Although I should better have today, because he had forgotten to put a bottle away in the "real" fridge before leaving home this morning, and I can tell you that wine fridges aren't cold enough for Beaumes de Venise . Anyway, that didn't stop me from enjoying it for apéritif, dessert, and even in between ... Actually, I think that I'm going to have another little glass right now as a digestif or pre-nightcap or whatever you care to call it ;D !

Happy, Happy Belated Birthday!!! Can't believe I missed it....new jobs take too much time and energy! I'm trying to catch up now! Hope it was a great day and will be a great year! See you in September! ;D P.S. Having noticed the wine was not in the fridge I probably would have bought a bottle! Thursday nite I was at a "Happy hour..well actually 3!" with my new co-workers Decidedly un French..I was drinking the house white(only one drinking wine) and we dined on varieties of fried bar food..mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, chicken strips, wings....
