LOL Happy, I didn't "post" that shrimp thing as a recipe, because it's "not French" (in fact, I made it up a few years ago), but then again it's so easy that it's almost not even a recipe! (Leave them in the marinade for an hour or so before cooking.)
Don't know what they grow typically in Florida, but here it's usually Meyer lemons, which are a world apart from what you find at the local supermarket. Citrus growing in yards is very common in much of California (in the inland valleys as well, although in the rare hard freeze they have to cover the trees or find some other way to protect them). What really astonished me, however, was realizing that people also grow avocado trees in their yards. (I wouldn't dare do that -- I'd be a blimp in no time!)
