OK, geordy, that does it. Will you please lay off ruining my cranky reputation !! Here are my other not-so-warm-and-fuzzy Christmas favorites: - The Long Kiss Goodnight (Geena Davis, Samuel L. Jackson)
- Die Hard (Bruce W. in dirty undershirt)
- Die Hard 2 (same...... )

Since we are no longer naming THE greatest movie, and we seem to be listing movies that we liked, I'd like to mention the movie "Love Actually", which is very unique and extremely enjoyable. Several story lines dealing with love may seem difficult to follow at first, but they all come together very nicely at the end. This film was a true delight to watch.

Shoesy, Love Actually is my favorite Christmas movie.

Okay, I'm goin' low-brow here...for Christmas movies, I love all the versions of A Christmas Carol...and, of course, It's A Wonderful Life...but really...Home Alone has to rank high on the list of all-time best Christmas movies. Dontcha think?? The scary old guy next door who has an undeserved reputation for killing and dismembering kids...but who really turns out to be a good guy. And Joe Pesci's gold tooth...and John Candy's horrid polka troop...C'mon!
And, Gitte...if you loved Rebecca, did you also ever see/read My Cousin Rachel? It's another classic by Daphne DeMaurier. Wonderful.

OK OK OK.......... I just didn't want to be the first to admit such low-brow preferences...... "Home alone" is sooo funny and little blonde Kevin is totally eatable ! As a momma you just want to kiss and hug and kiss that little marzipan cutie And while we are at it, let's sink even lower: National Lampoon's Christmas VacationI just adore cousin Eddie ............ ;D ;D

And while we are bringing out our "Top Ten" movie darlings....... These two guys together can still bring a tear to my old sentimental momma's eyes. IMO you don't get any movie more "feel-good" than this one about the angel Dennis ! "Mister Wiiiiiiilsooooon............"

YES! I have a neighbor who looks EXACTLY like Cousin Eddie. Right down to showing off his arse in low-slung trousers and wearing a dork hat. It's all entertainment.

I agree that Macaulay Culkin was quite an adorable actor when he was a kid. I also thought he was precious in the film "My Girl". Too bad cute kids grow up to be not-so cute adults.

Attempted cradle-snatching, that's what they'd call it, if somebody my age had posted BP........ Look, he can't even fill out his shirt collar, the poor baby !

Oh I disagree! But to each her own...I think he's darn cute (and not all that young Gitte!) I thought that he did a nice job in Babel, too...
But in the end, I'd take my husband over BP ANY day. So yes, Angelina can have him, happy ;D

Okay, SC is right up there (at any age!), as was Yves Montand - but hey, come on, what about Sam Elliott (that voice, along with the looks!)?
