Annette - well, not all that exciting, no. It's his second wedding. The divorce from his first wife, the extremely popular princess Alexandra from HongKong (now reduced to Countess Alexandra of Frederiksborg) caused a national shock, mourning and scandal. These things have never happened in the Danish royal family before ! That's why he is a dork. Alexandra ("My friends call me Alex") has now captured a Danish loverboy 13 years younger than herself and married him.........

Alex is such a lovely woman, and I love her taste in jewelry.

Gitte, You are wrong. Your garden gnome looks more like Bush.

Look at this : DANISH FISKEFRIKADELLER !!! Thanks to Gitte's motherly support and advices, I've passed my Danish Hausfrau test We all liked very much, and my son (who normally hates fish) loved it . My eldest daughter, who is very health- and weight-conscious, was horrified at the amount of butter that I put in the frying pan . Gitte, actually I didn't add milk at all, I thought that the mixture was already almost too liquid after I had added the cream .

Anne, I exalt you for those perfect specimens !! What did you add for taste - parsley, dill, chives ?

Thank you Gitte, I added parsley . You know, I now feel ambition creeping over me . What about getting rid of this Marie Machin girl and applying for the position of the dork's wife ? After all, I am French too, and only a few years older (hum ...) than her . And I have always wanted to be a princeeesss . If you help me here (and spare me the sausage-Coccio test, of course), I promise to pick you as my lady-in-waiting . And then I tell you, the two of us will have a BLAST ;D ;D ;D ! So, since Happy doesn't seem to be getting us anywhere close to the Elysée , what about some chandelier-swinging in Amalienborg palace instead ? Also, I am quite confident that daddy-in-law Henrik's wine cellar must be pretty interesting . Oh, the endless possibilities that race into my mind ! Yes, I know that I am already married, but I am confident that Sarko will be willing to take care of that as swiftly as for his own divorce ... .

The better to lure the dork with...and there is nothing wrong with having two palaces to drink in!!(excuse me I met visit! ) I'm looking forward to the new lights on the Champs Elysees!!First change in the Christmas lights in 26 years! They start Nov. 26. They will stay on Until after New Year's I hope??? I was there early in Jan 2006 and many of the decorations still up but alas not the CE lights!
