I am dreadful for wearing shoes with no socks so the dogs definately keep away LOL. In the UK Germans are known more for their unshaven armpits and stealing all the sunbeds rather than the socks and sandles........I discovered that I have more perceptions of foreigners than I thought today, I better stop it !!! I am not liking myself LOL

Andi, like you I am awful about wearing shoes with no socks. I just hate socks. Even in the middle of a New England winter, I hate socks. So my dogs announce themselves from miles away. Shoesy, I just had the funniest mental picture of your husband walking into the room and finding you in a demented ballet pose, trying to smell your tootsies.

I once knew a pair of (very) gay antiques dealers whose names were Chuck and David. I really don't suppose Chuck and David would have cared at all for Chet and David....

Andi, Chet and David were national newscasters in the 60's and very early 70's in the US. They were featured in a chat room conversation that may go down in history as one of the best-timed entrances of all time. And that's all I will say on the matter.
