I just caught a very bad traveling bug Shoesy! Most of those trips were taken after I turned 40...now I go nuts if I'm not planning some kind of vacation...it's a total obsession. If I could only get PAID for it, I could subsidize my trips!!

We've been literally everywhere in the U.S. I could give you something positive to see in every state.(I sometimes worry that our international visitors see Las Vegas, and Orlando as the U.S.) Ontario, and Br. Columbia in Canada. Baja and The Mayan Riviera in Mexico. St. John and St. Thomas in the VI. Naples Fl. is one of my favorite spots. I'm thinking I'll have to add the real one to my list soon.

I know we should have kept the West Indies - they would still be Danish now......... ray - love your motto !! I love Bogart: "Of all the ginjoints in all the towns in all the world, she had to walk into mine"......

Ray - I agree with you about Naples, Florida. My parents have a home there. It's beautiful (but starting to get much too built up).
Compared to the rest of you, I feel I've barely traveled at all: - Just about every US state (Florida many, many times) including Hawaii and Alaska. - Italy (Tuscany, Pisa, Volterra, Sienna, Rome) - Mexico - Bahamas - Canada But I am planning to see much, much more!

Gitte, Don't get me started on Bogart. Casablanca is my all time favorite movie. But it is not the only Bogart movie on my list. dep0515, I know what you mean about the overbuilding going on in Naples. It really jumped up, even after the Hurricane a couple of years ago. My wife doesn't want to go back. So I'll get more of Europe now!

Well , I will start chronalogically, so some of these trips were taken as a child:
France( starting at ten, several summers with relatives, done south, central, west coast( Normandy and Brittany) and of course Paris) ( 4 visits as an adult) Hawaii ( 5 x) ( love it) Los Angeles ( 3X) ( Disneyland mostly,, city itself not my favorite) San Francisco Las Vegas ( blinding and tacky, but everyone should do it once to see some shows, I saw Ann Margaret) Reno All over British Columbia and Alberta( where I live) Nova Scotia Germany Austria Netherlands ( at the dangerous age,, the age you must visit the " coffee shops" at. LOL Switerzland( I think the phrase , " bring money" is very accurate!) ( Zermatt, I hiked to the hut on the Matterhorne!) and Lucerne( so pretty) Belgium( passed through) Greece ( Mykonos, Paros, and Athens) ( really loved Greece) Italy ( Rome , Pisa, Florence and Venice) , hated Pisa, loved Rome. Jamaica( on a cruise, so just a stop in) St Thomas( ditto) St Marten( ditto) Bahamas( ditto) Mexico ( east and west coast) Washington State( it is so close) London( Bath, Brighton, etc. ) not my favorite Europeon city, but, glad I have done it. ( 2x)
Sorry about my poor spelling, it is a weak point for me,! LOL

I'll have to figure out all the states which is not as impressive as goldenmama's but I traveled for business so saw lots of little towns. Out of conntry: Jamacia Mexico (Puerto Vallarta) Bahamas (Nassau, Freeport and Port Lucaya) London (twice) Paris (3 trips total of 29 days) The only thing I was truly impressed with in London, was the politeness of the people, I had so many help me up the stairs in the tube to say the least I was shocked. Fish and Chips (found the place only by accident) and afternoon tea.)

The list will be too long so I will narrow it to my most favourite.
ITALY - fabulous 16 days, driving north-south, visited Venice, Verona, Firenze, Rome, Amalfi coast and then ... even more fabulous week in Sicily! You must visit this island! It´s unbelievable!
