Unlike a traditional engraving which would be done by etching a copper plate, inked and then printed on paper, these are done by laser.

I love my Moleskine diaries. Last year I bought the cityguides for Paris and Prague. The one thing I regret, is that I didn't write down all the places I wanted to go and had researched in the books before I left for our trip. Like museum opening times, addresses etc. I had thought to use it as a daily diary, but I was wrong. it would have been more useful as a type of wishlist diary and there would still be heaps of room for a daily log of activities.
I've just put in an order for my NYC cityguide which will arrive next week. For those in australia - you can get them via REMO online. and i will use it properly this time.

I love the REMO site! So much stuff that takes me back to childhood.
Kurgy, not sure where you are in Aust, but if you're in Sydney you can also get them from Dymocks stores.

Hi Mez I got my diary in the mail today. I am so excited! I can't wait to fill it in with plans. I know you can get them at Dymocks, but I'm not supposed to be at the shops its either work, home or library for me because i have an exam in 30 days. so with online shopping my husband is none the wiser.

^^ I guess that's one of the good things about being single - no need to justify my shopping habits.

Ladies, remember- there is NEVER a need to justify shopping habits or the amount of chocolate one consumes.

I have had my moleskine now for about a month and love filling up pages during lunchtime.

I cut out restaurants that appeal to me that were reviewed in newspaper in mag. and pasted them in my moleskin as I did points of interest.
